Wisecarver, George
George Wisecarver, born 1730, died 1805, came from Germany and settled in
Bedford Township prior to the Revolution. He married May Elizabeth Steel.
Their son Daniel married Mary Crissman in 1805. They had nine children,
four sons and five daughters. Their eldest son George was born 1813.
George's daughter Elizabeth married John Alstadt. George and Elizabeth had
nine children, four sons and five daughters. Their daughter Magdelena
Elizabeth married Morgan Prosser, and they had eleven children, seven sons
and four daughters. A daughter Lillian married Lloyd Hinkle, Supt. of Schools.

Morgan Prosser was born in this county. In 1859 he came to Pleasantville,
where he learned the blacksmith's trade under Samuel Whitaker. In 1870 he
commenced business for himself, and is now engaged in wagonmaking,
blacksmithing and general repairing (in 1884).

Morgan Prosser was born in this county. In 1859 he came to Pleasantville,
where he learned the blacksmith's trade under Samuel Whitaker. In 1870 he
