Funeral Of J.H. Wicks
South Fork, May 31-Funeral services for Joseph H. Wicks, aged 70 years, of 410 Main Street, who died yesterday morning at his residence, will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in the local Methodist Episcopal Church, conducted by the Rev. Mr. Minor, pastor. Burial wil be in the South Fork Cemetery.
The deceased was born in Cornwall, England, on December 3, 1859. He was a son of Joseph H. and Jane (Wilkinson) Wicks, who brought him to this country when he was six years of age. His parents first located at Mineral Point and later came to South Fork.
Joseph H. Wicks and Miss Jennie Wysel were married here on September 8, 1881. His wife died December 13, 1913. Mr. Wicks had operated coal and clay mines here for a number of years. He had lived retired for the last 20 years.
The following children survive: Mrs. C.O. Diamond, Mrs. Hershel Roberts and Helen, Wallace, Charles, Ralph, Joseph L. and Russell Wicks, all of South Fork. Twenty-four grandchildren also survive. His daughter, Mrs. R. J. Bunton, died here last November

Funeral Of Mrs. J.H. Wicks Tomorrow

South Fork, December 15.- The funeral of Mrs. Joseph H. Wicks, who died Saturday afternoon at her home here at the age of 52 years, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the South Fork M.E. Church.
Mrs. Wicks was the mother of nine children, all of whom survive, as follows: J. Wallace, Charles, Ralph, Roy, Russel, and Helen, all at home. Laura, wife of C.O. Dimond; Mrs Ella Roberts and Mrs. Nellie Bunton, all of South Fork. She is also survived by two sisters and a brother - Mrs. Etta Oaks, of Johnstown; Mrs. Maggie Tuckey, of St. Michael, and William Wysel, of Fayette County - and two half-brothers - John Moore of Derry and Frank Moore of South Fork.
