Johannes6-Valentine5-Friedrich4- Nicolaus3-Hans2-Christen1 was born on 10 Sep 1707 in Pfungstadt, the son of Johan Valentine Croesman (13 Oct 1667-May 1730), "Baker", and Anna Maria Hubner (bur. 7 Mar 1710).

 

The date of his arrival to America is uncertain. It is quite possible that he arrived before 1730, when the records of immigrations and oaths began.

 

Resided near Trappe, then above Salford Twp./Franconia. In records in Montgomery Co., Pennsylvania, his name appears often as "Hans Jurg Croesman" or "Johannes of Indian Field".

 

Born 10 Sep 1707 Pfungstadt. Died 1786 Franconia Twp., Mont Co., Pa. Married (1) Anna Catherine Heilman, m(2) Sophia (---) Houck.

 

His will is dated 16 April 1786, proved 26 Mar 1786 in Montgomery Co., Pennsylvania. He is buried in Fuhrman's Graveyard, Montgomery Co., Pa.

Furmans Graveyard no longer exists. Apparently it was destroyed years ago but was located at the west edge of Telford, just east of the Indian Valley Country Club at the intersection of Cowpath Road and Indian Creek Road.
