Weisel, -- In Friend's Cove, on the 23d of December, 1864, Mr. William Weisel, aged 37 years, 9 months, and 21 days. ... His lifeless remains were committed to the grave on Sunday, Dec. 25th, amid a very large concourse of sorrowing friends and neighbors, there to rest until the morning of the resurrection.

Amelia Mason Weisel Morgart, died at her home in Johnstown, May 6, 1928,
death being due to complications of diseases.
She was born in Bedford, October 7, 1852, a daughter of William M. and Jane
Minnick Weisel, both deceased. She was united in marriage to William States
Morgart on June 20, 1877, who, with three children, survive: Fred U.
Morgart, Jessie M. Morgart of Johnstown and Mrs. Sarah Leventry, of
Richmond Township, Johnstown. Three children proceded her in death.
Funeral services were held at her home in Johnstown, Wednesday, May 9, at
10 A.M., with her pastor Rev. A. B. Bowman of St. Paul's Reformed church
officiating. The body was brought to Everett and interment was made in the
Everett Cemetery, Wednesday at 2 o'clock P.M. She was a member of the
Reformed church all her life and held membership in the W. C. T. U. for 33
years.
Amelia married William States MORGART (Twin), son of Captain Philip George
MORGART and Mary Anna STATES, on 20 Jun 1877.33 (William States MORGART
(Twin) was born on 10 Sep 1853 in Providence Town, Bedford Co.,
Pennsylvania,33 died on 3 Apr 1930 30 and was buried in Everett Cemetery,
Everett, Bedford, Pennsylvania 33.)

MRS. W.S. MORGART EXPIRES IN MOXHAM
Park - avenue Woman Was Church and Temperance Worker for Many Years
Mrs. William States Morgart, whose health had been impaired for the last
four years, died of a complication of diseases at the Morgart home, 665
Park avenue, Moxham, between 11 and 12 o'clock last night, in her 76th
year. Funeral services will be held at the home at 10 o'clock Wednesday
morning by the Rev. Dr. A.B. Bauman, of St. Paul's Reformed Church, after
which the funeral party will leave overland for Everett, Bedford County,
where interment will take place. Dr. Bauman will accompany the party and
have charge of the committal services.
Mrs. Amelia (Weisel) Morgart was a daughter of William and Jane (Minnick)
Weisel and was born at Bedford, Pa., in the fall of 1852. She and W.S.
Morgart were married at Friends' Cove, Bedford County, in June, 1877. The
ceremony took place at the home of the Hon. Abram Weisel, grandfather of
Mrs. Morgart, and was performed by the Rev. Dr. David Whitmore, a minister
of the Reformed Church. The Morgart family came to this city from Bedford
County in 1901.
Mrs. Morgart was for many years an active worker in the Reformed Church.
She was at one time an officer of the Central W.C.T.U. (Woman's Christian
Temperance Union) and later served as an officer of the Moxham Union. She
was active in the Cambria County W.C.T.U. and served for some years as an
officer in that society.
Six children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Morgart, three of whome - Phillip,
Grace and Ella, the latter the wife of Charles Barnes Williams - have been
dead for some time. The surviving children are: Sarah, wife of Charles
Leventry, of Richland Township; Miss Jessie Morgart, at home, and Fred W.
Morgart, of 514 Cypress avenue, intermarried with Leta (Dunford) Morgart.
Mr. Morgart and four grandsons also survive.
