    Miss Olive Oaks Expires in East Taylor Township

     

    Former Employee of Lorain Steel Company Accounting Department Succumbs

     

    Funeral On Sunday

     

    Miss Olive Felicia Oaks, aged 30 years, who was employed for a number of years in the Accounting Department of the lorain Steel Company, under H. M. Davies, died at 3:10 o'clock this morning at the home of Mrs. Isabella Headricks, of East Taylor Township. Her death was due to a complication of diseases after an illness which lasted about one year. The deceased had to leave the employ of the Lorain Steel Company about one year ago on account of poor health.

    Miss Oaks wa a daughter of Mrs. Henrietta (Wisel) Oaks and the late Ezra Oaks. She was born in Jackson Township, just above Mineral Point. Her father expired about 22 years ago. Miss Oaks made her home with her brother, Charles Oaks, of du Pont place. Seventeenth Ward, during the time she was employed at the Moxham plant. Ellwood Oaks, a brother of the deceased died at West Point about one year ago. Miss Oaks is survived by her mother and four brothers, Bertman Oaks of East Palestine, O.; Earl Oaks of Elim; Charles Oaks of du Pont place and Howard Oaks of West Park, O.

    Funeral services will be held on Sunday at the Mt. Union Church, situated above Mineral Point. The funeral party will leave the Headricks residence at 2 o'clock and proceed to the church. Services will be conducted by the Rev. George Jones, pastor of the Conemaugh Brethren Church. Interment will take place in Mt. Union Church Cemetery. The body has been prepared for burial by Howard Davis & Son, undertakers of Conemaugh.
