    Elizabeth Ober; all of Huntington and Bedford Counties, Pennsylvania

    (grantors) sold part of a larger tract of land in Woodbury Twp., Bedford

    Co., Pa. to David Puderbaugh (grantee) on Feb. 25, 1828. The rest of the

    tract of land was sold for $258.10 to Jacob Hoffman (grantee) bounded by

    Jacob Ober; Joshua Compton; David and Elizabeth Puderbaugh. Recorded on

    June 21, 1830. Witnesses: Henry Fluck; Joshua Pinkley. The original land

    transaction: Patent Book H, Number 5, p. 457 (April 11, 1811) purchased by

    Henry Werner; Henry Werner sold 159 acres and 40 perches in Woodbury Twp.

    to John Ober. John Ober died intestate. On February 4, 1828 the heirs of

    John Ober sold the same tract of land to Jacob Ober (one of the heirs) for

    $280. Deed Book P, p. 722- 723. Bedford County, Pennsylvania.

     

    Heirs of John Ober, deceased of Woodbury Twp., Bedford Co., Pa.: Benjamin

    and Frances Barrick (Berge); John and Mary Ober; Henry and Elizabeth Ober;

    Catharine Hoover, widow of Emanuel Hoover; Jacob and Sally Ober; Benjamin

    and Sally Ober; John and Nancy Wisal (Weisel); Elizabeth Ober; Mary Ober

    (grantors) sold for $2300 to Christian Hoffman; John Hoffman; Jacob Hoffman

    226 acres and 6 perches in Woodbury Twp. bounded by John Hipple; heirs of

    Stophle Wike. Also waterrights were granted from a spring on another tract

    of land. Written on March 10, 1827. Recorded on March 17, 1827. Witnesses:
